Why Study Art?

Studies show that studying arts improves performance in literacy and math as well as provides students with more opportunities to connect with the global community.

I visited the link of this post and I think that it's amazing the the arguments to study art has to be done by scientists and institutions that are financed by corporations.
Two decades ago the reasons for studying literature, art, philosophy, the humanities had a support in the field and didn't need to be explained by neuroscience for instance.
"It has become appalling obvious that our technology has exceed our humanity." Albert Einstein.
He was so right!
