TWO Museum of Contemporary Art Bonus Opportunities

Calling all teens! Join San Diego-based artist collective Yeller Studio as they venture into the DIY world of ‘zine-making. Through a hands-on teen workshop exploring everything from concept to construction, participants will assemble their own editions using original or found imagery and text. Zines come in all shapes and sizes and are often traded or circulated among a group of like-minded individuals. Participants are encouraged to bring their original designs and material for use on their projects.

Coinciding with the exhibition Collection Applied Design: A Kim MacConnel Retrospective, this conversation between the artist and MCASD Curator Robin Clark will address the show’s major topics and themes.

Thanksgiving Break Starts NOW...

Updating the grade book... noticed a few grades from the last MC are not there...please check...if you are w/o a grade...bring in your MC so I can see what grade I gave you and put it in the computer.

Today we discussed India - Chapter 6 - as we will tomorrow. Chapter 25 discussion after break.

No turnitin.com discussion till Intersession.

I'll post final MC and final info over Thanksgiving break. Will make a note of it here.

Monday November 15th


Today we started our test and the essays were taken home for completion. Remember to start in a different color ink and cite your sources for work done outside class...it's OK to have other sources than your Museum Catalog since I am allowing you to complete this outside class.

Tomorrow we'll start our architecture project for the first semester...more again in the second semester. Take time to peruse the link (below) this week...a few more will be added this week.
