Semester is Almost Over...Looking into Next Semester

Today you turned in your ENTIRE MUSEUM CATALOG...a semester worth of hard work! Congrats! Tomorrow you turn in your take home essay. That completes Semester 1!

Now on to the rest of the year...Our next unit completes VOLUME 1 - Romanesque and Gothic. Your assignments for those chapters are due on January 29th and 31st, as noted. You will be tested on Tuesday 2/5/08 (Museum Catalog as well - some style changes to come).

Please purchase VOLUME 2 workbook from the turtle shop by test day.

Friday 2/8/08 is the ALL SCHOOL FIELD TRIP. Permission slips will be sent home after finals. We will meet at UCSD and look at site specific sculptures on their campus...rain or shine.

January 2008

This week you need to continue reading Chapters 11, 12,13 and 16. Our test will be Wednesday 1-16-08. Your Museum Catalog is due that day (scored as final exam). Friday 1-18-08 your final take home essays are due.

The first week after finals we will cover chapter 17 and 18 then move on to the Renaissance. You need to purchase workbook volume two for our Renaissance studies - available in the Turtle Shop.

February 8th is the all school field trip - we'll meet at UCSD. More details to follow.

AP Exam Essay due LAST day of class

Your AP Exam is this essay of your choice Worksheet and your final museum catalog - all chapters we covered this semester. The essay is due the last day of class. The Museum Catalog is due Thursday January 17th when you take your chapters 11, 12, 13 and 16 test.

Assignment Over Break

Before the semester ends we will have one more test covering Chapters 11, 12, 13 and 16. Complete the items on this Worksheet for the first day back after break...Monday January 7, 2008.

You will have to turn in the SEMESTER MUSEUM CATALOG with this last test...the museum catalog and one essay of your choice will be counted as your final exam. Essay choices to be published on the blog in the next few days.
