AP Test Review Project

The attached document lists the project topics...essay questions from past AP tests as well as thematic based questions to get you to review and think about the overarching concepts/goals for learning in this course. Monday May 5th we will be given our partnerships and be able to work in the computer pod by the classroom (Tuesday also).

Presentations will commence on Wednesday. Each presentation will be stopped if it goes longer than 10 minutes in length. Points will be taken away if groups do not provide an interactive learning environment for their peers.

Please do read over all questions as this is an excellent review tool.

You should be prepared to answer broad based essay questions on the exam - you can pick the artworks you use to answer the prompt. Make sure to MEMORIZE artwork, artist, date and style/country for a few artworks that you could potentially use to answer questions...REMEMBER some artworks are rich in content...they could be used to answer a variety of questions.

The AP Test is NOON on Wednesday May 14th. if you wish to come in for tutoring, please let me know a day in advance and I'll prepare a review customized to your review goals.

Additional Assignment

Don't forget to visit the Heritage of the Americas Museum (WS on a previous blog) NO later than June 1st...seniors MUST visit before senior finals so they can get credit for this last assignment.

Don't forget to turn in permission slips ASAP! They were due last week.

Due NO LATER THAN May 6th - read an article from the Smithsonian and visit the Cooper-Hewitt Museum website and answer the questions.

Revisions to schedule

Monday 4-28 Test - chapters 24-28-29. Check here for essay topic ideas.

Homework scheduled to be completed Monday is now due Tuesday
Homework scheduled to be completed Wed (4/30) is now due Thursday May 1st (Ch 33 part 2)

Remember all permission slips for the Bowers Museum Field trip are due 4/25

Upcoming Test

Monday 4/28/08 we will have a test on the rest of 24 and 28 and 29. Museum Catalog for 24 is complete...bring that. Museum Catalog for 28/29 will be due on that date. Rubric to be attached...

Upcoming Work

Tomorrow's Quiz/Test will cover 22 and what we got to of 23 in class today. The rest of the assignments between now and the AP test are included in the attached document. Tests/Quizzes will be announced with 2 days notice.
