Greece Test - Tuesday 10/28/08
What to do to prepare...other than MC Creation and online version of our book (questions)?
- Look at Art History Resources on the Web ... on links of interest
- See October 14th post for blog to visit
- Visit the Met Museum...go to timelines (http://www.metmuseum.org/toah/ht/04/eusb/ht04eusb.htm)
- Look at discussion Question options for the chapter...one might be on the test
- Note the distinguishing divisions in Greek History...and a visual example of each
- Be able to communicate about philosophers
- Understand how the Acropolis and the buildings on the Acropolis demonstrate Greek PRIDE.
- Understand the Orthogonal City Plan.

Greece...Etruscans and Rome

Due Wednesday 11-22-08...workbook (5) discussion question #1 page 57
type or hand write (neatly) in paragraph/essay form. Include 2 examples from Greek and 2 from Sumerian culture.
Greece TEST Monday October 27th or Tuesday the 28th
The rest of the week of the 27th we'll discuss Rome
Etruscan and Roman test Monday and Tuesday Nov 3/4 (Soph retreat...test given both days...you take it the day you are in class. Upperclassmen can take the test either day and have a free block to study the other day).

Final Museum Catalog is due Thursday 10/16. QUIZ CHAPTER 4 THURSDAY THE 16th. For those of you on the football team that MAY need to leave early ... players must decide as a team when they wish to make up the test...either before school Wed/Thurs or after PSAT on Wed.

APAH Assignments Post Test #2
Congrats...two tests down this quarter...one to go. Your final museum catalog of the quarter will be a project grade...if you lost points on earlier MC's then you can "add to them" in an attempt to get full credit on the quarter ending project. Tuesday you'll get those back! Your tests will be returned early to mid week.
Our next test will cover chapters 4 and 5...Aegean and Greece. For Wednesday 10-8-08 Read Chapter 4 (and complete pages 44 and 45 in your ... WKBK as you do so), read the learning objectives (online version of text) and complete WKBK:
